Bolle Store Plus is an eCommerce platform serving customers in Côte d’Ivoire, focused on delivering a fast, reliable, and mobile-friendly online shopping experience. The project is currently in active development and is being delivered as part of my freelance work through Toptal, where I am responsible for the front-end and WooCommerce implementation, working closely with business requirements and real-world purchasing flows.

Technically, the store is built on WordPress using WooCommerce and a custom Full Site Editing (FSE) theme, with a block-first architecture designed for flexible merchandising and content-driven commerce. Custom Gutenberg blocks are developed using React.js, enabling reusable product layouts, promotional sections, and conversion-focused components. WooCommerce functionality is extended and customized using hooks and filters to optimize cart behavior, streamline checkout UX, and reduce friction in the purchase flow. Performance strategies include lean template rendering, optimized asset loading, and careful control of WooCommerce scripts to ensure fast page loads, particularly on mobile networks. The result is a scalable, performance-oriented eCommerce foundation that balances editorial flexibility with robust transactional functionality.
